hi everyone. i was out doing some pick ups at my local shop. just a few groceries. any way i usually walk there because its quiet close to me. and i always wear my mask going into the shops. i was walking back and there was a guy in a car smoking. as i walked by i could kind of smell the smoke. i immediately covered my nose and mouth with my jacket. because when im outside in the open i dont usually wear my mask only when in the shops where theres quiet a few people. now im afraid of the virus through his smoke. pls tell me im overthinking. im 28 by the way and i worry about it so much.
I think you’re going to be OK. I’ve done that myself Several times and never got the virus. Plus you covered your face right away. How far away was he?
First of all he would had to of had the virus.
. I have walked right past people who blew out cigarette smoke and I am fine. Try not to overthink this. and remember, you are young and I’m going to assume healthy. Take care
hi jan. yeah he was more than 2 meters away plus he was in the car and the window was opened so thats probably why i got a whiff of it. im not sure if he had just lit up.. but im 28 and no underlyning conditions. But still so scared of it
You wont have got it from his smoke, you’ll be fine
