I've been on 4mg twice a day for over a week now and I had to take today off sick. for the last two days I've felt awful, not sleeping and so drowsy. today I couldn't handle it anymore so had to stay home and sleep. how long does it take for this to pass please? I need to feel normal again.
Hi didn't your doctor tell you it can take up to 6 weeks to fully get into your system and until it does you might feel worse until you feel better? If you can bear the side effects it's best to try and stick with your ad. If you can't or they are severe then go back to your doctors and ask for a change. x
I can't change now. this is the third I've been on in about 6 weeks. they've allowed me to go down to one a day instead of two in the hope my body adjusts better
You can change as many times as you need to until you find the right one for you. I tried 2 others until I found sertraline which works fine for me. I was never told that was my last choice. x.
