I currently receive dla higher notability and middle care. I was injured in car accident and sent a few consulant reports in when i initially claimed. I have been waiting on pip letter but received dla letter today with the payment amounts and indefinate like I do every year. Does this mean I won't be reassessed for pip.

Nope, just means your DLA continues at indefinite until you’re called up for your PIP assessment- you always get a letter every year confirming your assessment - I’m on DLA indefinite motability and have had a letter each year for 17 plus years, still waiting on the PIP invite. Everyone on DLA ( over 16) will be invited ( eventually!)
It depends on your age Joy. The following is taken from the CAB site:
You’ll carry on getting DLA if you were 65 or over on 8 April 2013. For everyone else aged 16 and over, DLA will stop and you’ll need to claim PIP instead - even if you have a ‘lifetime’ or ‘indefinite’ award for DLA.
