Hi All i was admitted into hospital last week as i was having some serious flare ups, this ended me having a third camera job and i have ulcerations and inflammed areas in my large intestine, they did check my small and there was no evidence and the consultants feel that this is UC however they are awaiting confirmation from the biopsys to ensure, is it is confirmed they are looking at surgical removal as i am on retroantivaral drugs, as the masalizine and steriods are not working and i am not a very good candident for immune suppresents. so just have to wait 7 days for the results. will keep you posted

Hi Rachelle No I have been sent home as they felt i would be better resting at home whilst we wait on the test results.

Hi John, I hope you have UC only. Have they said they are able to remove colon by keyhole sugery? When they measure for stoma site make sure they position in a good place so clothes don't get in the way. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Sheila thanks for the message i to hope it is only UC and not indetermanted they have not decicded yet on what to do as they wish to see biopsys, been checking online about location of bag and they will arrange me a visit to the stoma care nurse, i am looking at this as a way to be free

Good to hear they let you go home wishing you lots of luck for the results you have a good attitude and you will have your life back I had surgery nearly 5 months ago.. And then got my life back 👍
