i am looking for anyone with experience of recurrent antibiotic resistant u t i after a bout of diverticulosis was treated with flagyl.
Hi there yes I have just had four recent hospital stay is taking Flagyl and ciprofloxacin and my bug has been been resistant.I am now on course for drugs and hoping that it will at last settle down I was told that sometimes only this tiniest amount of bacteria left in York that can re-awaken the bacteria in your stomach causing the infection it’s a horrible drug to take I don’t know about you but it takes out of me.Go back and see your doctor maybe you need another course hope this helps
Ive never taken flagyl. But I have several antibiotic allergies and have been treated with xifaxin, with repeated bacterial infections. See my GI thursday after a long wait. so frustrating.
Have you had uti infections and diverticular, or only one of them
