i had MVD surgery 5/2/17 after suffering on and off for more than 7 years. I am home with minimal headaches ( always had migraines) and minimal suture and neck pain. Also, tinnitus on the side of surgery? No trigeminal pain!! But I do have significant double or dancing vision and have to F/U with an ophthalmologist. Have only read about 2 other people who have had visual disturbances. Praying this is curable and goes away soon. Anyone else??
I had bad double vision after MVD. Couldn't read, watch TV or anything. I was very concerned, but it did eventually go away. Try to put some eyedrops...that helped me a lot and try not to read or be on the computer until it clears up.
I didn't have any of this but from what I understand, many folks who experience what you are having saw the symptoms go away as their bodies healed. Many of the side effects are temporary so let's hope that is the case for you as well.
hi Karen i had MVD for TGN in February 17. I have no more TGN pain but do have RT SIDED palsey, major hearing loss in rt ear causing tinitus and have had to have a gold weight fitted in my Rt eye lid. I DID have some visual disturbances beacuse of the probs with my eye not closing and hearing loss bur have now ceased, I think due to now my having assistance of the gold weight.
Is ther anyone out there dealing with simular issues?
