hey guys i was just diagnosed with HSV1 genital and ive been trying to research but i cant really find any answers. i would like to the transmission rates and how do i know if i have orally. Also if anyone has it I would like to know how your sex life went and whether or not it was passed. Also how long are the outbreaks and how long after the outbreaks am i no longer contagious. Also can i no longer get drunk anymore?

Not sure about the transmission rates. You likely do not have it orally, and even if you were to come into oral contact with it you would likely not get it orally. I know this because my boyfriend gave me HSV1 from oral contact, and my OBGYN said it was okay to have unprotected sex because he will not get it genitally due to the fact that he has it orally. I am not sure what this has to do with getting drunk, you can definitely still do that.
