Hi guys. I have recently been diagnosed with spondylolisthesis grade 1, L5 and S1. When I was 14 and heavily involved in gymnastics and cheerleading I was told I had spondylosis. I am now 21 years old and my condition has progressed (doctor said this was normal for those who develop spondylosis in their early teens). Anyways, my husband and I are planning to start trying for our first child this July and I was just wondering if any of you who have spondy and have had children could share your personal experiences with me. Doctor said I should be fine, that it shouldn't cause additional slippage or any pain other than normal back pain associated with pregnancy as I have never experienced any pain from my condition. I am also concerned with whether or not I will be able to pick my child up, whether or not I will be able to have the natural water birth that I am hoping for, I'm just nervous about all of this. Thanks in advance for listening and taking the time to respond
xoxo
