Long winded story but I have been on HRT for 2 years and had to stop recently for approx 8 weeks due to tests I had to have. I thought it might be a good time to stay off it and see what happened. I was fine for a while and then the symptoms started coming back.. more notably the anxiety, which anxiety, which took me a long time to settle down. I have started back on the HRT and have only been back on it for 2 weeks and I feel the anxiety has eased slightly and I possibly may have "caught it in time" before it escalated back to how it used to be before HRT. I guess I am just looking for some reassurance .. how long does it take for the HRT to start working again? am I literally starting again like before HRT and having to wait for it to kick in? Thanks
Suesol, how long did it take for the anxiety to settle down when you went on HRT - I have been on for 4 months and I am still having anxiety which I never had before in my life
