Hi

I had MVD ON 9TH MAY (10 days ago). All seemed to go well with the surgery. I have been readmitted once with a fever and drips from my nose but ct scan, LP and 48hrs in and all was clear so theyve let me come home

I really feel like im struggling to get back on my feet. My family are all telling me its just too early but id just like a little step in the right direction. I feel exhausted all the time, the mornings i struggle with particularly as my head absolutely booms. Once im up and about and have taken some tablets it fades over a few hours. Im really struggling with my 2 year old beacuse i cant tolerate the noise and the jumping all over me.

Ive been left with a stuffed up ear and really loud tinnitus on that side which i dont think is helping.

Is this normal?? Im trying to get myself up and about but i just dont have it in me at the moment

Apparently many people take 4 wks before they do more than shuffle from the bed to the bathroom. I would say 6wks minimuimum before you consider doing any housework including stuff with children. Your relatives may be correct. Get help

Readmitted to my hospital yesterday with an infected wound and csf leaking from it. Restitched and on antibiotics through the drip for a week. Maybe that wasnt helping....
