Hey guys been scrolling down and I really think there needs to be some positive vibes around, has anyone here been through anxiety and triumphed? In a way that they can relax and enjoy life 90% of the time? Just some motivation for Everyone!
Hayley
Yes, it took time and patience and undestanding my Anxiety was my responsability.
Yes I still suffer from the condition, like when I go to the Dentist or having to remember how to relax when I need to have certain medical tests etc.
I am taking a course in the next few weeks and that is a little bit of Anxiety I could do without although if the cause of my anxiety is leading from cause to a positive effect the Anxiety becomes worth while especially if the award is well worth while.

Thankyou for your response the question I'm asking is can you relax most of the time now? That's the goal I'm heading for, I can handle it sometimes but this constant anxiety and depression is really doing it in for me now
Hayley
Yes now I can relax more than before, sometimes my Wife complains I relax to much after what I used to be like.
I am a firm believer in diversions, that seems to help me, although now I have problems with short term memory.
Normally I am on here, looking at picture books, gardening and looking after my Orchard.
We live in the countryside and have our collie, Pax he keeps us occupied. I am unable to work long in the garden and sometimes it can cause problems when Pax wants a walk. I keep busy as best I can
BOB
That sounds lovely
I'm usually always busy anyway as I'm a student at university with a fairly constant social life however the anxiety just seems to follow me around persistently wherever I go, or whatever I do. It can be really hard for me to Keep busy sometimes as I find I have no motivation to do anything, everyday is so exhausting for me. I would just love to enjoy things again and be completely relaxed!

You do not need to knock doors out of windows, we all need some form of relaxation every day, You will be busy with Uni although sometimes you will need to put things on the back burner.
When I was at Marine Tech it was an interesting Social Life, although I understood I had to walk away from those in class and do something for myself and other people who were old friends etc
