I've been suffering with extreme rectal bleeding for many months now ... (I have 1 or 2 days a week when I don't bleed) but most days its Bad!! my bowel habits have changed from once in a morning , but now I can go between 6 and 15 times day. This is not just a smear of blood on the loo paper but a bright red massacre in and around the loo, plus blood clots! I never feel like I've emptied myself and most of the time I have a constant dragging/ache down there! In fact, I've bleeding that much I am suffering Severe Aneamia, ( shown by blood test) which is causing more problems for me. Dizziness,forgetful and confusion. Extreme Fatigue. Hair falling out. Tingly skin etc. I had a Gastrocopy and colonoscopy in August.
It showed i have a hiatus hernia and grade 2 Osophagitus. They took biopsy from my Colon but they came back clear. I've had 2 lots of stool tests... 3 lots of Blood tests. Rectal exam.
I took photos of my toilet visits because I felt like the docs were not believing me... the doc recoiled when I shown him all the blood and the clots. Now, I'm being referred back for a more detailed colonoscopy because my doc thinks that they haven't done a good enough job. I'm sick of it... it's making me feel poorly losing all this blood. Some days the blood actually pours from my bottom like water pouring from a tap!
Can any body help???
