Rectal bleeding for about two weeks. Unsure if I should be concerned.

About two weeks ago I passed a fairly large and dry stool that (I believe) teared skin. Toilet paper was bloody, which has happened before for similar reasons. However, normally there is no more blood the next time I need to poop. This time there has been. Every single bowel movement since then, unless it has been runny, has reopened that tear (I think) and produced fairly large amounts of blood. The slightest bit of pressure seems to aggravate it. I’m unsure of what to do.

Might be a small internal haemorrhoid. That is how they all start. Get some cream and see if that helps first

I’d say visit with dr. Maybe hemorrhoids? Try preparation H suppositories before going to the bathroom. And the preparation h cream for after.

My doctor told me that The bleeding can last up to 6 weeks in some cases. If you are concerned, visit you doctor and talk about it just to confirm its a tear.

Rule of thumb blood should never be seen, you should have a check up with Doctor to find out what is going on could be anal fissure, hemorrhoid, but both needs to be seen as treatment for each is not the same.

Hi adipose

I think you should be going to see your doctor as soon as possible or A&E as rectal bleeding for about two weeks or less doesn't bode to well in my opinion. Please Take care.
