Id like to know if anyone felt great after surgery for a week or two and slowly started feeling discomfort ... i have my first post op appt next tuesday but for several days ive been feeling sore pretty much all day. So ive purposely done very little and lived on my couch basically with an outing to pick up my daugter from school... small tidying tasks and some light cooking but otherwise ive done nothing. It feels like what i think it would if your body is telling you to slow down but other than being bed ridden i dont know how else to slow down...
Tomorrow is my surgery so I can't speak from experience but I have heard other ladies say that around week 3-ish it does get sore down there from healing and stitches tightening up. Best of luck and keep us posted. It's good you have an appointment soon to ease your mind. If it really seems odd to you ring the Dr
That's sucks. Where is the pain? Does it go away when you take pain meds? Keep taking It easy.
I am nearly three weeks post op. I have felt as though I have gone two steps forward and one step back since the surgery. I feel really fine some days, with no pain or soreness then others I have to just rest all day then feel fine again after resting. Rest as much as you can, even light cooking is a strain on you, especially if you are standing in one position too long. Things are healing, so you will feel sore at times. Good luck with your appointment next week. Fingers crossed things will be fine.
My repair sight doesn't hurt at all yet. Only been 2 days. Have some anal pressure and discomfort but that's about it. Just convinces me to be extra careful of over doing it
