recurrent headaches

Hi there,

are migraines a common symptom of HSV2? I usually get them after I have finished my medication and my sores have disappeared. They make my eyes really sensitive to light and it is rather annoying

thanks in advance.

Yes, it's possible, more so if you're female. HSV-2 can cause a self-limiting episode of viral meningitis, which typically resolves on it's own without any complications. I suppose that could feel like a migraine. Light sensitivity is also a symptom.

Having a migraine/headache is also the first sign of dehydration, so make sure you are drinking lots of water during this time.

Keep hydrated 💦

You will flush all of the bad "stuff" out too ♡♡♡

What medication? Valtrex can cause headaches. Drink lots of water for hydration and try ibuprofen/Aleve. If that doesn't work, ask for prescription strength migraine pills, you take as needed.
