I don’t know what to do. Prior to having this recurrent outbreak I’ve been on valtrex as a daily suppressant for a year and a half and have had only one outbreak that was gone in a few days. This hasn’t gone away. Even my initial outbreak was gone after 2 weeks. I finally went to my doctor and got it cauterized with silver nitrate and that hasn’t seemed to help. I had valtrex, lysine, vitamins c, zinc, and e. I have also started applying tea free oil on the areas for the last 2 days. Any other suggestions. It scans over and then won’t heal underneath. Scabs fall off then they are back. This doesn’t seem normal!
