I’m wondering does anyone have experience with recurring genital herpes. I’ve never had this before and I broke out at the start of November, my doctor told me it would be gone in a week, I’ve been back and forth to the doctors and been on anti virals the last two weeks and twice its looked like I’m properly healing and l’ll break out in new blisters. I’ve two on my clitoris that I’ve had since the start that are taken ages to heal. Can it last this long? I’m freaking out at every tingle and itch I feel and examining every blemish.
First outbreak is usually the worst and can last a couple weeks or atleast my first one did. Mine seem to be stress induced and with the death of my father a month after my grandmother died ive not been taking care of myself so much and drinking alot so that makes it worse. I get an uncomfortable tingle at the small of my back and thats when i know im fixing to have an outbreak and the blisters usually show up in the same area. Ive had hsv2 for 2 years and been alone ever since. I havent figured out how to get past feeling so depressed about it and ashamed so i stay to myself until today i started having an outbreak and decided to find somewhere to talk to people that have it because it can be so overwhelming. If i take my medicine during an outbreak like im supposed to it usually clears up in little over a week. Hope i helped
