I occasionally see these red blotches appear on my glans and remaining foreskin (circumcised). This all started way back in 2019 following intercourse with a gf at the time.
Way back in 2019 the redness was also painful/burning - however the burning sensation is no longer.
I also suffer with CPPS following damage to my SI joint, which in turn is triggering pain the pudendal nerve/pudendal neuralgia on my left side. This causes pain to traverse down my left, into my sit bone, the testicles and into my penis. The penis head mostly feels very dry, almost like the glans are not producing natural oils.
I'm struggling to get healthcare providers to look at this properly.
I guess I'd just like input to find out if I have two separate issues, or whether the nerve pain issue is in turn affecting my skin/glans.
The redness circled in the photo, is darker, however the photo doesn't portray this.
I always thought my ex gf suffered with BV, her private parts often had an intense smell. I did bring this up with her and got shot down for asking.
Just wondered what people's opinions are - nerve damage or the impact of something caused by bacteria linked to BV or thrush.
