Red bumps/patches of the head

Hi,

Within the last 2 weeks ive noticed red spots and bumps on the head of my penis. Also they tend to flare up after shower/masturbation. The redness subsides for the most part with time but the red bumps and redness around peehole stays, looking like inflamed.

Any help identifying what this could be and possible ways of getting rid of it would be appreciated.

Irritation from shower creams and friction from masturbating. Your all good bro.

Much of the changes in appearance you describe could, I think, be caused by changes in blood supply to the area.

That looks like mild balanitis.

Washing (with water, no soap) daily, and taking a leak and washing after masturbation or sex will probably help, and you could also try Canesten cream or Daktarin cream.  Loose fitting cotton underwear may help, and some sites recommend washing underwear with non-biological washing powder or liquid.
