So, JJ is onto the right things - you may have two things going on here, and this may depend on whether you have tried to apply something to cure it or not.
So, it may have started as a cyst but it also looks like you also have irritated skin as well. As you have puss there is an infection involved - do not irritate the wound any further.
I would treat the original problem and hope that this does not further irritate the skin - you need liquid (not any other versions such as a cream or lotion) antiseptic - apply a very slight dab of undiluted liquid 3 or 4 times a day.
The first times you apply this it may really sting - then this may stop occurring - you need to take the infection away, so continue to use the antiseptic until it begins to heal, once healing is well under way apply the antiseptic 1 or 2 times a day until completely healed …
