So I have this red mark on my penis that's been there for about a month. Haven't been to the DR but I know it isn't STD because I haven't has sex in a very long time. It doesn't itch, burn or hurt at all.
It seemed to appear after a very vigorous masturbation session that lasted hours. It seems to go down very slowly but every time I masturbate it flares up again. It fades to light pink and then after getting an erection or masturbating again it gets deep red and takes awhile to heal. Sometimes it looks like there are slight scabs or something. Neosporin seemed to help a bit but I stopped using that. I went a whole week without masturbating at all and it healed somewhat but not much. It also seems to change shape. I'm thinking it's just a deep bruise or friction burn but the paranoia is bothering me. Could it be balanitis or psoriasis? The head of my penis also looks kind've weirdly shiny and cracked but I live in dry weather and don't moisturize it so it could be from that.

most likely herpes but i agree with the previous poster. a doctor would know better than any randos online would
