I have had these red patches on glans penis and shaft and some redness on the sides where frenulum is. This is there for a very long time now (around 2 years) and they haven't changed the appearance. There is no discharge from them, they are painless and no itching whatsoever. They are just there and I only noticed them when taking the shower when I was cleaning the area.
I'm uncircumsized and I wash the area by pulling back the foreskin every day using warm water (no soaps).
I have seen a doctor once and have tried putting the corticosteriod creams on it but no change. Any possibility on what these might be? Particularly the red patch in first picture is very stubborn which is there and very prominent. It also has a distinctive silvery / shiny layer on it compared to the rest of the skin of the penis head.
I’m dealing with the similar issue since last 3 months.
what did your dermatologists say what exactly is that?
They said its just inflammation which is not a very satisfactory response as their treatment didn’t work.
Have you actually seen a skin specialist?
The essential thing is that when using a corticosteroid it MUST be used absolutely correctly, or it simply will not be effective, such as: -

- it must be applied sufficiently frequently, 1 or 2 times a day, for example
- it must be fully rubbed into the problem area so that the active ingredients are absorbed by the skin
- the active steroid such be of the correct strength, or again, it will have no impact
- depending on the actual issue itself, even apply the CORRECT steroid in the correct manner you may not get any real change for up to 5, 7 8 months are more - as not all skin problems repair and heal quickly
