Just needing advice on what doctor to go to for this particular issue?My lips are constantly dry,I have a inflamed ring around the edges edge of my lips,looks like lip liner.I Also get ulcers in my mouth alot.ive gone to my doctor and they are absolutely useless..I need to know, should I go to a ENT doc or an oral pathologist??
Is your mouth - I mean the inside of your mouth - excessively dry? If it is, which the mouth ulcers suggest might be the case, this could be a sign of an autoimmune condition. Lots of us who've had mouth dryness don't recognise it at first. In my own case, I noticed my lower lip was sticking to my gums a lot and I had an uncomfortable sensation on my tongue, but it took me a long time to work out that I was suffering from dry mouth. Also, do you get soreness or even bleeding at the corners of your mouth?
Oral pathologist and they will know what to do to help it and fix it.
