Red Scrotum Syndrome / Neuropathy

I'm just wondering if Red Scrotum Syndrome and neuropathy are related in anyway? My scrotum has been red and burning for the past 7 months or so. No solutions. I'm wondering if it's not a case of mild red scrotum syndrome and wondering if it's not related to the burning sensation I get in my feet. I've not been diagnosed with neuropathy or red scrotum syndrome. I'm not sure if neuropathy is really the right word here. My feet just have a slight burning sensation, usually at night. Which I've heard mentioned with a neuropathy diagnosis before. Although, neuropathy may also consist of a pins and needles pain... I don't have that. As for the red scrotum syndrome. It's red in the front and not so much on the side or underneath - which seems to match what I've read as red scrotum syndrome. But it's really not that debilitating - it burns, off and on throughout the day, but doesn't really stop me from doing any ordinary tasks. Does any of this sound plausible? I seem to have trouble getting doctors in my area to diagnose things. I know doctors hate it when you go in and say "Google told me it was this" But I've been to doctors several times with this and have no solution. Is there anything I can do to kind of push them into perhaps getting the correct diagnosis? Or any particular drug that should be prescribed to help with this?

Chuck, have you seen a Dermatologist - you may also need to see a Dermatologist that deals with Genital Skin Disorders? If you live in the States or even the UK there are more and more specialist Dermatologists that deal with issues like this.
Simply do a search using similar key words to this:

Genital Skin Disorders - then the Town , City or State / City in which you live

There’s really just not a lot of information about Red Scrotum Syndrome or at least that I can find. I’m wondering if it’s just something most doctors are unaware of?

I did find:

I’m not sure how much one should trust information from this website (or not, I just know random information on the Internet isn’t always trustworthy)

But it does have a handy table that would appear to give some useful information

This would seem to line up with my experiences. My issue was also diagnosed as tinea cruris and later as eczema (contact dermatitis) and it still persists. It also mentions several treatment options that I have also tried (betamethasone, clotrimazole, several other antifungals) that did not seem to work.

It mentions symptoms that I seem to be experiencing: erythema (redness), warmth, burning sensation. Although I haven’t really experienced any pruritus (itching) or really what I’d call pain (unless you count burning as pain).

But in all of these cases (which was only 5) pregabalin (Lyrica) was prescribed and provided remission. With pregabalin being a treatment for neuropathy and with me having a slight burning sensation in my feet. This would seem to fit for me. But I’m not a doctor.
