Red, sore, cut, labia after sex

Hi there, I have had this problem for quite some time now. I am in my early 20s and very often after I have sex with my boyfriend my labia are red, sore, and often have small cuts on them. If I have sex once this often happens to a small extent and is bearable and sorts itself out after maybe 2 days. If I have sex 2 days in a row it becomes quite bad, really stingy and painful. If I were to try 3 days in a row it is unbearably stingy and painful - I can hardly walk. It takes several days for me to feel it is okay if it is bad - maybe 5-7 days.

The strange thing is that our sex is not rough at all, is really good for both of us, and I am usually sufficiently lubricated. Sometimes just to check that isn't the problem, I have tried using lubrication and it doesn't make any difference. Using a condom definitely makes it worse, but even without a condom it still happens.

Sometimes I put sudocrem on the cuts and it often helps with the discomfort, but I am not sure if it is a sensible thing to put that sort of cream down there and if it actually hinders the healing process or not? I also try to wear cotton underwear to help it heal.

I am just really interested to hear if it is just me that seems to have such seemingly sensitive genitals, if there could be a more serious underlying problem, and if there is an easy fix to what I am experiencing?

I was thinking that it could be as a result of dryness while having sex, but since you said that you're sufficiently lubricated, I think it might be something else. But that's definitely not normal. Therefore, I suggest you see your gynecologist. Good luck!

I always put shea butter on it and no irritation or cuts happen afterward
