This morning when I woke up I felt soreness on the penis head and had a red spot. I don’t know how it happened… I had a morning wood and a bit precum. Maybe the precum stuck to my underwear (brief) and then the underwear detached from my penis or maybe the underwear caused this (chafing maybe), I don’t know. Also when I turned the flash on I noticed that I have dry flaky dead skin (don’t know what to call it) on the glans (on the right of the picture and where the frenulum is) and the redness is more apparent. Does anyone know what this red spot is?
What shall I do? I live in a rural area and don’t have a car and now because of all this coronavirus nonsense there’s no public transportation so I can’t seek help.
Okay, no need to panic, in most cases like this it will most likely resolve itself. This could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks - in a smaller number of cases the healing may take months to enable this to fade, and in fewer cases there will be at least some discolouration to the are on a permanent basis. But lets see what happens in the short-term …
In terms of the dry skin this is very common problem for the majority of men, it has to do with what the skin of the upper-shaft, foreskin and head / glans of the penis is in regular contact with. So, for the majority of men this issue is linked to the regular use of soap and other forms of body wash such as shower gel - here is one of my Guides to give you some further insight on what to do:
.
Brief ….
What to do - never use any form of soap on the head of the penis, when you shower, draw the foreskin forward to protect the head of your penis, rinse everything off when you finish showering, then expose the head of your penis and rub with fingers and water only - dry your penis first, carefully pat dry with a towel and make sure the head and foreskin of your penis are completely dry!
