Red spot on the shaft of penis, please help!

I've had this red spot for at least 2 days now and i'm getting a bit worried. Does anyone know what that weird spot is and it is harmful to my penis? Thank you in advance!

Hi bear,
It’s likely to be just a boil (hair follicle infection). A hot compress may release the pus and then just allow it to settle. Apply Savlon or other antiseptic cream afterwards if you wish.

I use a tiny amount undiluted Liquid Antiseptic on anytyhing that looks like this - usually clear in 3 to 5 days.
Apply 3 to 4 times daily to start with, then 1 or 2 when healing begins
