Around six months ago, I noticed that there were a small red areas and extremely dry skin on my penis and foreskin. Its most noticeable if I look up close, but the red spots are more obvious after I have had sex. My first thought was that it was balantis or thrush.
Four months ago, I went to a dermatologist who ensured me that it was contact dermatitis. She said it was from friction and prescribed me Triamcinolone Acetonide. I have put the cream on for weeks at a time, but have never noticed a huge change. Its always got a dry scaly look to it, and will fluctuate from slightly dried out and barely red, to much more spotty and dried out. The foreskin area looks like its been stretched in lines if that makes any sense.
I plan on contacting a new dermatologist, but would like some opinions, so that i can get this figured out. It is upsetting to not have a normal looking penis, and the occasional itch is annoying too.

Regarding this dry skin on you forehead, do you find some presence of any kind of white peeling of thing / substance / skin that can be like "peeled’ off your penis head ?
any smell ?
