Redness on gland

I've had this for a little over a year now and I still can seem to know what it is or how to get rid of it. It comes and goes, usually when I done masterbating it tends to go off. I've tried the following: Valtrex and Acyclovir (because I thought it was HSV1 or 2), Ampicillin (in the case it may be bacterial), and I also put on clotrimazole twice daily. None have actually helped. I'm lingering towards the fact that it may be a stubborn fungus I'm not entirely sure. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be much appreciated.

think lots of people on here have a similar rash. Any trigger for yours? mine started with owo.

Ive just tried herpes supression for almost 3 weeks but did nothing. I see a urologist this week so fingers crossed.

It’s usually when I’m done masterbating. Like I’ll go a week without touching myself them once I’m done it appears.

mine looks the same but i have white scar lines by the urethra. no pain, no itching, no nothing just looks bad. please let me know if you figure anything out

try fucidic acid (fucidin) or mupirocin. they are bot topical antibiotics that can greatly improve your condition.

okay thanks will do

I’ll consult with my doctor this coming Wednesday (11/25) about prescribing me something like that. And give an update. Thank you for the suggestion

What did your doctor say?

I’m being referred to a urologist. I’ll post what they say afterwards.

Hey ricardo
Visit a dermatologist it may be fungal.
idk i have kinda similar condition and he gave me antifungal for some tenia on thighs .
magically it worked for both penis and thigh.

I believe it’s fungal as well. I still use clotrimazole twice a day. I didn’t use it for 2 days once and noticed some shedding of some sort. Fingers crossed that it’ll be just fungal and helped after that. I’m set for a dermatologist soon so hopefully they can give me a clear answer.

What was the name of the prescription you were given?

So I met with a urologist and he says it looks more like a rash (candida), but to get with a dermatologist to get their input. I was prescribed Ketoconazole 2%. Let’s see how it works.
