Hello,
I have had these red marks on the head of my or is that come and go. I have probably wrongly been using hydrocortisone over the last 8 years to help in this issue.
I have recently had STI checks and everything came back negative. Bloods and urine. I don't believe it to be herpes or hpv Etc.
They do not bother me in terms of being sore or itchy etc.
I have included some close up picture of anyone could advise?? Doctors is booked but the frustration has finally got to me after all these years.
I quite agree with you that these relatively insignificant things can drive us round the bend.
Many years ago I had a similar problem with a nasty rash in my groin.
It was with me for years and years.
It was only when I convinced myself that it was an STI, (heaven only knows why because I only had one partner, namely my wife), that I pocketed my pride and went to the nearest sexual health clinic who performed all the tests, and like you said that I was clear of anything nasty.
They referred my to my doctor who immediately said he thought I was allergic to a particular soap.
I was initially treated with a 1% hydrochortisone cream that made no difference whatsoever, and it was only after I was prescibed a much stronger hydrochortisone cream that the condition finally disappeared.
Having said that, occasionally when my wife forgets and buys a perfumed soap the condition comes back, but at least I now know how to quickly stop it from becoming a nuisance
I am fairly certain that your case isn't that different, and when you get the right treatment for it you will at last be able to relax.
As archimedes these long tem things are worrying but if you have had it for 8 years it is very unlikely to be serious is it?
Penises do vary so much and althoughw e cannot see the photos I'd guess yours is "normal for you"
Everyone is different in some way, so what you or I have is normal for us.
As to whether it is serious or not, in my case I thought it was but I was wrong, and it is most probably the same for you.
If you have any doubts whatsoever then you owe it to yourself to go down to see your doctor who is trained and paid to help us.
There is no need at all to get over-anxious about this.
Thanks for your comments.
I am still trying to figure out to to put the pics on? Any help?

AND THERE IS NO NEED TO PUT PICTURES ON HERE AS THERE ARE LADIES PRESENT - JUST GO TO THE DOCTOR IF YOU ARE CONCERNED.
Good move gettting checked for STIs. But the red marks are a normal skin condition down there and nothing to get too worried about. Try using a penis health creme containing Vitamin E and you should see those red marks dissipate. These cremes are much better than regular hand lotion because they are made specifically for penis skin. Check it out. Cheers!
