Got my antipsychotic aripiprazole reduced and feel awful. Had it reduced 3 weeks ago and feel flat and down. How much longer will this go on? Was on 10mg now on 7mg.

Hi are you taking any other meds? I have reduced Aripiprazole down from 10mg all the way to 2.5mg and have felt no withdrawl so far. Did you want it reducing or did doc ask you to? My next step is to go down to 1.25. I have done it over the course of 5 months so far.
Hi Katie, thanks for replying. Yeah, on lithium and citalopram as well. I have started feeling better. I think I am sensitive to withdrawals. I have to stay on aripiprazole as I have schzioaffective disorder. I reduced it to feel a bit more, not told my doc. Gonna stay on 7mg and not go any lower, as I don't wanna end up back in hospital. I have been back at work for a year and a half, which is great. Any problems and I Wil increase back to original dose. So far so good. What did you take aripiprazole for?
