Hi there,
Was diagnosed a few years with bile and acid reflux.
Has anyone experienced upper stomach pain with it? Is just above my navel

I have had acid reflux for years and for last couple of weeks have had terrible stomach ache right the way across upper abdomen and also constant nausea. Also have very sour taste in mouth all the time.

It is frightening.

Hi Pauline,

I know you said you have acid reflux, but as you also said you have a sour taste in your mouth the whole time, I wonder if you actually have GORD (gastro oesophageal reflux disorder).

My symptoms weren’t typical, so I can’t say I have the same issues as you, but part of the problem is a hiatus hernia, which they repair with an operation. It might be worth seeing your doctor to get checked out for this condition.

Reflux sometime will cause upper abdomen pain and if one got nausea and sour taste all the times will need to see doctor soon.
