So I’ve had on going issues for over a year now. Have daily pain in upper right abdo, shoulder blade pain and in my back. Have nausea, bloatedness.... the list goes on. I ended up in hospital a couple of times too, with a stone stuck. All tests come back “clear” no stones, HIDA test normal, Mrcp normal, ct scan narrowed valve but normal bloods normal. So consultant said there was no way it could be gallbladder as the tests were fine, even though every symptom I have pretty much points to it. So they referee me to a gastroenterologist who has re read my notes and said they (surgical dept) have missed something in my notes and he believes it is all biliary pain and they are wrong. He is sending my poo sample to be tested for crones as some symptoms link with that but he’s pretty certain it’s my gallbladder. So he’s writing back to the consultants to explain what they have missed and to get the gallbladder removed. I’m just wondering has anyone had anything like this where everything was normal and they had the gallbladder removed and then they got better. I’m just worried it will be removed and I still won’t be better. I’ve lost over 3 and a half stone and barely eating as it causes to much pain and discomfort.
I had a normal hida scan, with gall bladder symptoms, finally demanded a second one that showed low ef and chronic cholecsystitis. Got it out no more nausea
