Since February I have two bouts! After the blisters heal and fade away I think there gone only to get one or two more blisters!!! Some people heal there blisters and that is it!i have nerve pain and burning! Sometimes the itch too!

I have had recurring shingles every month for 15 months. My doctor prescribed antiviral and zantac. It seems to be helping. Keeping my prayers uplifted and hoping I don't see the sight of shingles again. Good luck everyone!

As you now have Post Herpetic Neuralgia, you need a topical cream to control the pain and itch. This problem can last for many years, so a topical cream reduces the need for long term analgesics which have a harmful long term affect on the body.
My mixture is as follows :
250 grams of Invite Vitamin E Cream
Two 5gram tubes of Aciclovir anti-viral Cream.
65 grams of Dencorub Heat Gel.
Mix thoroughly and apply sparingly to the pain and itch areas.
Invite Vitamin E Cream contains 5% Glycerol, so it does not form a skin with continued use.
Aciclovir anti-viral Cream is the anti-viral for Cold Sores and Shingles.
Dencorub Heat Gel contains 26% Methyl Salicylate and 7% Menthol. It is the pain killer in the mixture.
Alternatively, if close to the eyes, use 100grams of Dencorub Arthritis Cream.
Try this If you have PHN. It works well.
