i was recently diagnosed with Herpes and i have many questions such as can sex cause a reoccurence while its happening and how does a reoccurence feel?
is this what one could look like too?
Yes sex can cause a reoccurrence. My advice would to always use lube. A water base is good to use with condoms. The friction can cause trauma to the skin which can cause a outbreak.
Outbreaks usually don’t appear straight away so would be unlikely to happen during sex. Could be a tear. Or could have been a healing outbreak that you didn’t spot. It’s always important to be aware of your body.
Usually you will have tell tale signs like itching or tingling in a area prior to a outbreak (for me it feels like a itch that doesn’t go away if your scratch). I would hold off having sex until this is healed Incase it is a outbreak.
