Hi Any success on what’s cured it? Also had the flagyl cream caused anyone to itch near the anal area? Dr had me on pills and then changed to cream. It’s inky been two nights and I’m itching back there. Hope it’s nit yeast!
Solosec seems to be the answer for me in this 8 year battle. Still being cautiously optimistic as I only took the antibiotic about 3 weeks ago. But so far, so good.
Thanks! Did you ever have a negative culture? Mine has been positive going on 4 months straight no matter the med I was on. Did you dr know about solosec? My dr said the more broad spectrum cause yeast and not flagyl. I don’t think I agree with that.

My cultures were always positive for BV. My Dr did not know about Solosec, but she did lot hesitate to write me a prescription for it, knowing that the metro gel has never worked for me. I did not get a yeast infection from this, but I’ve also never had one.

It is definitely a special order through the pharmacy. It took a day to come in. But go onto the pharamacuetical companies website to download the coupon for it and give it to the pharmacist ahead of time. It saved me over $200 because my insurance wouldn’t cover it due to it being so new
