Reoccurring herpes outbreaks

I was diagnosed with herpes simplex 2 about 6 years ago and i think the longest ive gone without having an outbreak is a month.

On average I have 2 outbreaks a month.

If I get my period, have sex, shave, leave the hair too long or if im stressed I get outbreaks.

Ive tried to research if any other people have constant outbreaks but I cant find any information online. I basically just want to know if im alone in having outbreaks so regularly, or if im not, then how certain people have dealt with it.

Also as a female it is constantly painful to have sex, feels like a friction burn inside, does anyone else experience this?

are you sure these are herpes outbreaks?
that herpes sores cause friction pain?

sounds more like vulvodynia and vulvar vestibulitis syndrome specifically.

i have absolutely SCOWERED the internet for WEEKS about herpes and looked on a ton of forums and i have only heard of repeated outbreaks like youre describing once. as sam said, theres probably a good chance its something else.
