HI all,
not been on here for a while. i had my hip replaced in October 2017 at the age of 39. All was well and i got back to all my usual activities - walking and zumba and running around after the kids.
However for a about the last three months i’ve been having pain in my replaced hip, not constantly, but when it happens its very painful - reminds me of the pain before the op. It does ease off so i don’t know if this is normal and just me overdoing it or do i need to see someone? if so who? do i go to my gp or contact the hip clinic?
Any advice appreciated!

had my right hip done July 2017. I’m 69 so bit older. Hip seems fine, but muscles still weak on right side, and ache after much walking. left hip on way out now!!
Sounds like you’ve been over doing it a bit, although not easy with family etc. I’d see your GP.
Its not normal. Suggest you see your surgeon.
