Thanks Rich, yes I too have kept a diary, watched what I eat, tried to stay stress free, difficult to do when I'm being referred to OH,and have meetings with my manager. Now I've been refused PIP, that is doubly stressful. I just keep crying, because I feel I'm not being listened to.

Hi Sharon,  Sorry to hear about your troubles.  I can relate.  I was denied Long Term Disability recently.  It's a big blow!  I have been off work since end September 2016, so over 9 months now.  It is difficult to prove all the problems caused by Menieres.  At the end of April 2017, the new ENT I see doubled my dose of Betahistine to 48 mg twice a day.  Took awhile to adjust to this, about 3  weeks.  This, combined with vestibular rehab exercises have made such a difference.  Tinnitus is decreased.  For the first time in months, I feel somewhat normal!  I still have some fatigue however but overall I am much improved.  I am getting a hearing aid very soon, it's on order.  Want to return to work but it's a daunting prospect!  This condition is so unpredictable but we have to keep going, scary as it us sometimes.   The thought of working again seems like climbing a mountain.  Keep hopeful,  things will get better!

I forgot to mention that I have not had a vertigo attack in over 2 months.  I would usually have 2-3 a month.  This coincides with increase in Betahistine.  Hope it stays this way.
