restasis

I'm curious if anyone was told by there own eye Dr aside from dry eyes. If they also were told they have dry patches/spots on one eye like myself. I'm using this stuff, I go back two mos. To see if its working. I guess the only way I'll continue the drop is if he says the left eye has improved. With dry spots. I'll then have faith in the product. Seems you waste alot of this I noticed. One vial could last a couple of uses but isn't sanitary. Saline I use sometimes in eyes. But all in all the eyes feel good and contacts , air optix are working well.

What stuff are you using? Dry eye is a symptom and testing shows dry spots on the eye. Oxyal is good and can be obtained at the chemist without prescription.

Hi . Just a little update. Saw eye doctor for two month follow up. Restasis is working. Dry patches on left eye are almost gone. And eyes improved. If not for restasis I could not wear contacts. I'm fine all day. Yes it burns and feels funny the beginning but its the best. As Dr said saline even though sterile has small amount of salt which is drying to the eye. Not a fix for dry eyes. After hearing I'm improved I will stick with it and yes its a long term commitment as you cannot stop the drops or you'll end up where you started. And for me this is worth it. Quality of my eyes comes first.

i have juvinile myclonic epilepsy and am on Keppra (750mg x2 a day) and as one of the side effects ( there are many...) that i expreiance is blurry vision. i have been to the eye hospital near me but they havent been able to help. someone on the epilepsy support forum mentiond they share the same side effect and treid restasis. do you no if this works? any one have anything to say on it?
