I’ve got my results back and I do indeed have HSV1, on my genitals, I am glad it is HSV1 and not HSV2. Of course I am still unsure on how to interpret these results, but my mind is a lot calmer now knowing so. If anyone has any information regarding HSV1 genital herpes, could you please message or reply on this forum. And if anyone would like any reassuring or help, feel free to message. Thank you for everyone’s help over this past week, you’ve helped saved my life x
unless you did a swab test on that area there is no way to really tell. Or if u had a neg hsv1 test prior and after a few wks it turned positive it may make sense. usually it takes around 16 weeks to show on blood testing

I did a swab on an open sore last week? Which one would have primarily assumed, and I have explained extensively in prior discussions. I haven’t received any blood tests back as the doctor let me know it would take that long.
