finally my results came back…positive… im in disbelief, devestated… coukd they be wrong? im going back for blood work

i remember working with someone who tested positive, diagnosed with herpes and her blood work came back negative, is this true?

it was possible they got bloodwork to soon.. have to wait 12/16 weeks after exposure to test. swabs are pretty accurate. did the get fluid from the blisters for swab?

im doing the western blot herpes test blood test its 99.99 percent accurte

swabs are pretty acurte if the cells grow on the plate then its positive if it dosnt then its not

she was diagnosed and was taking medication to prevent flare up and a year later got the blood work

how much is it and how do you go about getting it?

google western blot and they send the kit to your house and you take it to your doctors

if it was a swab, theres little to no chance its wrong. blood tests arent accurate until weeks after your first break out so they will probably come back negative. it still means you have it, your body just hasnt built up immunity yet
