Hi, I am 3 weeks post gallbladder removal. I feel ok ish, incision sites healing nicely and feel fine as long as I’m resting, if I’ve had a walk around/washed a few dishes, pottered about, then I get pain to the bottom right side (almost feels like pain you would get with swollen gland in groin) and also pain behind bellybutton like a pulling sensation. Anyway my question is how long did you people take off work??? I work in a very busy shop/small supermarket so theres lots of manual work, lifting stocking up etc. I know that my employer would be ok bout me doing light duties ie standing at the till fo 6 hours. I’m just really not sure whether I’m ready for that yet and just wondered how long it took other people to return to work?
