has anyone every had their ribs hurting. At least i think its my ribs. It doesn'thurt when i breath in or out but it hurts if i sit up straight or do big movements. Its hurting now sitting at the computer and its right down my lower left side. I had it the other day on my right under my boob and now its shifted to the left and a little round my back.ANY CLUES???

I have the same pain down the right side for me in the rib area and breast down the arm and into the hand i go ice cold and have no use of my hand. I was told by the pain doctor that it was due to the pressure put onto the nerves in the spine due to cs. When the pain is at its worst breathing hurts and only pills and bed helps........Im 48 but feel 148!!!!

welcome to the club, i have a feeling like having a bad chest infection, i'm not sure it would class as pain. although if it hurts to breathe, i suppose it is. i was told it is referred pain, and the pain comes from the intercostal muscle. i was told maybe muscle relaxants may help although i havent tried them.
Hey, unfortunately I'm going through the same your going through. I wake up everyday in pain and I'm tired of taking pain killers and have minimal my movement. My best advice to you during this flare up is rest as much as poss. I know it's a ball ache but try get pain management. I wish u the best of luck
