Four times now, my urinary leg-bag had a "gush" (sudden unexpected quantity) of urine after riding a vehicle. Last week, I was on my way to ER in a taxi when the blockage suddenly unblocked, and I was soooo happy to tell the cabbie to "please turn around". That day, my urine had turned bloody again, along with the (Foley in place) blockage.
The taxi ride was bumpy, and my guess is that was the "miracle maker" for me. And a lot of praying. I was distressed at the sight of blood again, and my will to live was ebbing. Thanks for potholes on the road!
Btw, I watch my urine bag, and my "production" seems to be around 100ml/hour, now that I barely drink water, and stopped eating/drinking by 7pm.
What I've learned since Sept 1st:
- Never drink more than 8 ounces of any liquid at one time.
- Per the uro, avoid avoid avoid spicy foods
- Squat while defacating; sit while peeing
- At all cost, avoid having the first urinary blockage to occur.
Cheers!
