Hi this is a great forum! I am nearly 11 weeks! I feel low as I have arthritis in left hip and both knees! Also starting in hands! I am also a carer of my disabled hubby! He to has oa of lumber spine, hips and knees! He has been on the same meds for years! He's also deaf and severely sighted! I am having a spa every other week and also reflexology as this help with my tension! I now suffer from stiffness at the top of the hip and still feel bruised! I am walking about each day! Sorry for ranting ! I feel weepy! Regards Amanda

Hi amanda you do have a lot in your plate
Keep your spirits up and hope things get better for you best wishes
Hi amanda
We all go through these ups and downs. I only had a total hystorectomy and had a hernia repared at the same time above my belly button 9 months ago now going through having my hip done. It really can get you down and I do feel for you having been there myself many times. There will always be good days and bad days. There is no use fighting it or think you are being silly because you are not.
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. If not then the next day. You will get through this and we all need to rant or complain about life and this forum is the place to do it because those of us who have been through it understand more than those that have not.
I hope for a better day for you.
Good morning Amanda ... I hope you had a good night sleep and feel better today .. You do have a lot to cope with and I admire you for that --- I also read so many of your encouraging words here on this forum - that is so great about this forum - we read each others posts and know exactly what they are feeling and going through - for me, to know that I am not alone in this, is priceless - we still have to do it ourselves though ... oh, and those emotions !!!! be gentle with your self today - big hug
Hi Amanda, just want to give you some virtual hugs (((hugs))) Sorry you are feeling so low, you do have a lot to deal with and it's not surprising you are feeling so down. I have had total knee replacements in both knees in 2008 and 2010. Just had a RTHR and have to have the left one done later this year. My hands are also knobbly and twisted so I can sympathise with you. It must be very difficult for you to have to care for your husband as well. If it helps to have a rant and a moan I'm sure no-one here will mind one bit and will try and support you even if only with words. I hope you are feeling a bit better today. xx
Hi Jill, thank you! I am making sure from now on I keep up having a spa treatment every other week! And also reflexology! As I suffer from tension in neck and shoulders! Thank you and every one else for hugs! This means a lot to me!regards Amanda
