Hello does anyone have positive effects with this medication?? I was prescribed prednisone for irrational thinking. .5mg and mitrazapine for sleep 15mg. However I don't know why I'm feeling okay for a couple a days and then feel sad again with suicide ideation. I was also prescribed Zoloft 100mg. Anybody going through the same thing?

I'm sorry risperdone for irrational thinking not prednisone.
I was given risperidone and had a terrible time on it. I felt like my brain was being knocked out and was tired all day, just wanted to sit down. Then the headaches. I have ended up with mirtazapine only which helps sleep. Risperidone is a very strong drug as i found out after doing some research. If it suits you then take it. My friend has been on it for ten years and is much more well than i am. I suppose anything is worth a go when were not well but there are many more meds out there. Anti psychotics definitely work, but not for everyone.
Mirtrazapine 15 mg has helped with sleep and appetite but not depression. I am going to try 30mg..
