Has anyone taken robinul for dizziness and how well did it work?.....side effects etc?....
Bluesmann,
Yes! Yes! Yes! For me, it work better than anything I've been prescribed...and I've been on them ALL! It works the fastest (I chew it) and has the least side effects (little drowsiness). It's a great help to me. When it comes to drugs, I tend to respond best to the old fashioned stuff: Glycopyrrolate used to be given to women in the old days, for morning sickness. It's the best stuff I've discovered so far! Far better relief than from Zofran, which is supposed to be "the big guns." I guess everyone repsponds differently, but if you're plagued with nausea, perhaps it might be worth giving it a try.
Sending wishes for a nausea-free day!!

What about for dizziness?....i dont really get the nausea...i thought it a bit odd my ent prescreibed robinul?
You're very lucky! Dizziness and nausea frequently go hand in hand. When I start to get dizzy, it's always accompanied by nausea. Although I am prescribed Meclazine and Clonazapam for the dizziness, I always take the Robinol first. And sometimes that's enough to stop the progression. Other times, I have to add the Meclazine and Clonazempam. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but Robinol has a "clarifying effect". The nausea goes, and the head clears. Also my appetitie usually returns fairly quickly. It would be very interesting to see if it works on just dizziness. As far as I can tell, there are no unpleasant side effects. What dose was prescribed for you?
1 mg 2x per day
Yes. I take 1 mg as needed. Did you give it a try? Did it help the dizziness?
Hope you're feeling much better!
They have me on 1mg twice a day I still get some dizzies but they seek to go away quicker I also take a me calzine when dizzy did they take awhile forbuoubtonstsrt working ?
For me, it was a surprise: they worked right off the bat. Unlike Meclazine or Zofran or Clonazepam. For me, they seem to cut through the nausea and often prevent further dizziness. Have you tried Meclazine or Clonazepam? Everything seems to work a little differently for everyone...you just never know.

So do you take them with water when you feel dizziness coming on?
If it's sudden and I'm not near water, I just chew them. If it comes on gradually, I take them with water. Either way, it works.
