I am really worried that I have mouth cancer. I have been to the dentist twice this week complaining that the area just behind my top front teeth feels really sore. The dentist could not see anything to worry about but took an X-ray which was fine. On the second visit he prescribed antibiotics but could not see any sign of an infection. I am worried sick, don’t feel like eating or drinking and don’t know what to do. I don’t eat spicy foods and don’t remember eating anything rough to scratch my palate or eating anything hot to burn it. Any help or advice appreciated, I am desperate.

Went to a private emergency dentist yesterday. Thankfully it’s nothing to worry about, it looks like I have either burnt my palate or scratched it with my toothbrush which will heal itself given time.
