I had a root canal done just before covid lockdown. Afterwards I experienced a lot of pain when eating, drinking and even breathing. I gave it a week and a half, but with it being no better I contacted my dentist who said he thinks it is still infected and put me on antibiotics for a week which I came off a few days back.
Its better than it was, but still not right with a constant dullness feeling, and occasional sharp pain when breathing through it and drinking.
A little earlier I was mowing the lawn when my legs collapsed under me without warning and fell down, and I felt a bit light headed, landing backwards on the ground. I got up a few seconds later, went inside for 5 mins, had a drink and took my jacket off, even though I was not hot.
I went back out to finish and just as finishing the last bit it happened again but worse, as my legs also started to spasm, and I whacked my arm and head on the fence trying to land on the ground softly. I waited a few minutes till I was confident I could get back on my feet and again when inside, before returning to put everything away.
Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I feel a bit shaken up, but legs are working OK again, but worried it might happen again walking in the house or outside on a harder surface.
I am wondering if this is somehow related to the tooth infection.
I am underweight (41, M, 65KG and 6 foot 2) and also have a hiatus hernia which I take Omeprazole for, but has also been playing up recently with increased stomach pain (offset by the tooth pain) and some loose stools and also more blood than usual. I had Glandular Fever back around Christmas and around the same time started to experience extreme fatigue, and also had a depressive episode which I very recently managed to get things together and come out of.
I am going to contact the dentist again tomorrow, but know they are not doing any dental work due to covid.
